Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Manager with an extensive background in industrial products/drive components/automotive product sales and business management. The candidate will lead and expand sales efforts predominantly in across Ontario and Manitoba and other parts of Eastern Canada as required. The candidate will develop and execute strategic business plans, drive revenue growth, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the region, Experience in European and American markets would be an asset.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, market expansions, and key account development.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

 

Sales Management:

  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.

 

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, global OEMs, and industry influencers.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish new connections.

 

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on the progress of business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals for global accounts to potential clients and partners.

 

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts with company goals.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sales or business with a deep understanding of industrial products/drive components/ automotive product industry.
  • Experience: Over 12 years of experience in sales, product management, business development with a proven track record in international markets, particularly in North America, Europe, and Latin America
  • Skills: Demonstrated success in leading sales initiatives, managing key global accounts, and achieving growth in industrial and automotive sectors. Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities with an entrepreneurial approach to business expansion
