As one of three business units of the iwis Group, iwis mobility systems is a global leader in the development and production of high-quality timing drives for combustion engines as well as tailor-made electrical system solutions.

Our succesful partnership with THIEN eDrives

In 2011, we took our first steps toward electrification through our partnership with THIEN eDrives. To reflect the growing opportunities in the field of electrification, iwis motorsysteme was renamed iwis mobility systems in 2022.

In 2023, we are deepening our collaboration with Thien eDrives with the goal of launching our first electric drive systems in 2025, thereby helping to shape the future of mobility.
