Change on the Executive Board

iwis announces a change in its Executive Management: Uwe Kastner will resign from his position as Group CFO effective June 30, 2026. He will be succeeded by Dr. Marco Schmid, who will assume the role effective July 1, 2026.

Uwe Kastner has been with the company for 14 years and has made a significant contribution to the successful development of iwis in his role. The Supervisory Board and the entire Executive Board thank Uwe Kastner for his great dedication and outstanding work and wish him all the best for this new chapter in his life - his well-deserved retirement, with more time for family, friends, and personal interests.

Dr. Marco Schmid, an experienced executive, is taking on the role. Before joining iwis in May 2025, Dr. Marco Schmid was responsible for the financial functions (accounting, controlling, tax, treasury, investor relations, and procurement) of the Carbon Fibers business unit at the SGL Carbon Group. Dr. Marco Schmid has extensive experience in carve-outs/spin-offs, IPOs, and post-merger integration, as well as in the development of business plans and the strategic advancement of operational business, and brings with him extensive leadership experience and responsibility for managing international project teams.

The Supervisory Board is confident that Dr. Marco Schmid will provide important input for the further strategic development of the company.
