In 1991, John Deere Supply Management established its Achieving Excellence program to create a comprehensive supplier evaluation and feedback framework that drives continuous improvement. The program emphasizes strong communication across the entire product life cycle and is built on the principles of involvement, commitment, trust, cooperation, and teamwork.
Today, more than 1,300 suppliers worldwide participate in the Achieving Excellence program and are evaluated annually across key performance categories, including quality, delivery, process alignment, relationship, and value creation. Suppliers that exceed Deere’s rigorous performance standards, achieve world-class results, and make measurable contributions to customer satisfaction are recognized for their excellence.
For John Deere’s fiscal year 2025, iwis has been honored with the prestigious Supplier of the Year award. This distinction is reserved exclusively for Partner-level suppliers and recognizes exceptional performance, impact, and results. iwis was one of only three suppliers worldwide, across John Deere’s entire global supply base, to receive this award.
As part of this achievement, iwis earned Partner-level status for the seventh consecutive year—John Deere’s highest supplier rating. Partner-level suppliers consistently exceed performance expectations and demonstrate a significant, measurable impact on customer satisfaction and overall business success.
