For the second time, Capital has selected Germany's best companies for training, and 154 of 700 of the companies achieved the top rating. And the study also reveals that digitalization is becoming a decisive factor in training. In the competitive market for skilled workers, more and more companies are making their offerings more attractive by increasingly integrating topics around digitalization in their training programs.

This is the result of a second survey conducted by the business magazine Capital (11/2018 issue) together with the talent platform Ausbildung.de and the personnel marketing experts from Territory Embrace. Over 700 companies were involved in the survey. Participants included DAX-listed companies such as Adidas, Allianz, Bayer, Deutsche Post and Deutsche Bahn, along with well-known companies such as Dürr, Krones and Miele, as well as iwis. Of the 700 or so companies, 154 - including iwis - achieved the top rating of five stars, and a further 346 were given four stars. "The quality of the training in industry is at a high level - and has even improved," says Ana Fernandez-Mühl, who headed up the survey at Territory Embrace. According to the survey, growing digitalization is also increasingly determining the training content.

The study provides a country-wide overview of "Germany's best companies for training", broken down by region and occupational group. It thus serves an important orientation function for school leavers and first-year students.
