Within the strategy of the planned expansion, iwis Systemtechnik GmbH i.Gr., a subsidiary of Joh. Winklhofer Beteiligungs GmbH & Co. KG (iwis), Munich, takes over the assets of HS Systemtechnik GmbH and HS Schmied GmbH, both based in Kaufbeuren / Neugablonz.
The HS Schmied Group was founded in 1946. With considerable know-how and expertise in the field of sheet metal, punching, forming / bending technology - in particular covering and shielding technology (HF / EMV), sheet metal parts are manufactured for customers of many industries. Whether small or large-scale production, prototype production according to existing data as well as development and construction up to the serial production with tooling from own tool construction, high-quality products are offered to diverse customers in the field of Automotive -, IT -, Transmission -, Medical -, Communication -, Electronics, Control, Aviation and Energy Technology.
iwis is thus expanding its competence in the field of electrical engineering and electrical drives for the global automotive industry.
The management of the newly founded iwis Systemtechnik GmbH will be taken over from June 1st, 2017 by Mr. Johannes Winklhofer. Silence has been agreed on the purchase price.
