Industrial Roller chains

iwis roller chains cover standard drive and conveying applications through highly specialized variants — corrosion-resistant and food-safe chains for washdown environments, double-pitch chains for low-speed sorting and agricultural equipment, and side bow chains for curved conveyor paths. All chains are built to DIN and ANSI standards and manufactured to the same quality requirements iwis applies across food, logistics, automotive, and industrial-manufacturing customers.

To find the right chain for you, browse our sales partner locator to find a U.S. distributor, or contact us at our U.S. headquarters in Whitestown, Indiana.

Types of high-performance roller chains

There are many different versions of iwis high-performance roller chains, including roller chains with straight plates, reinforced roller chains, double pitch chains, roller chains with restricted length tolerances, corrosion-proof and maintenance-free chains, stainless steel chains and side bow chains.

Corrosion-Resistant Chains — Stainless steel, nickel-plated, galvanized, and zinc-aluminum-coated chains built for washdown, food processing, and other environments where standard steel would corrode.

Double Pitch Roller Chains — Extended-plate chains for lower-speed, lower-load applications like sorting plants and agricultural machinery, available with transport rollers for gentler conveying.

Roller Chains with Sawtooth Plates — ELITE-brand chains engineered for exceptional wear resistance and fatigue strength, built primarily for transporting raw timber and sawn planks in wood processing.

Roller Chains with Vulcanised Elastomer Profiles — Chains fitted with a rubber profile that protects fragile goods like coated sheet metal or planed timber from scratching during transport.
