Mechanical load tests, vibration and lifetime tests provide reliable insights into fatigue strength, microstructure analysis and the tribology of chain components. This ensures maximum quality, minimizes premature wear and extends the service life of iwis chain systems.

In iwis’ R&D area, extensive analyses are carried out to evaluate wear elongation, fatigue strength and surface structures. This includes metallographic examinations, microscopic methods, advanced measurement technology and many more.
