Corrosion testing is an essential part of quality assessment in chain technology, especially for coated components and stainless steel chains. These tests simulate aggressive environmental conditions such as moisture, salt, or chemical exposure to evaluate the resistance of materials and coatings. This enables the targeted selection and further development of suitable materials and protective systems for demanding applications.

  • Alternatively, an "accelerated corrosion test" is possible.
