Sustainability reporting
In order to provide stakeholders such as customers, investors and the community with a comprehensive insight into iwis' sustainable practices, we systematically record, evaluate and disclose environmental, social and economic measures and information. This is done through various channels.
EcoVadis
All iwis sites are evaluated by external experts on the EcoVadis platform. The main iwis production plants have repeatedly been awarded EcoVadis medals. Certificates and further information on the EcoVadis sustainability performance reports can be found in Downloads .
Corporate Carbon Footprint and Climate Strategy „ZeroCarbon 2040“
As a leading manufacturing company, iwis also pursues the clear goal of keeping the environmental impact of its business activities as low as possible. The company attaches particular importance to minimizing its own carbon footprint. The iwis climate strategy ZeroCarbon 2040 as part of the iwis sustainability transformation means taking robust sustainable steps to achieve the targets.
IntegrityNext
Through our activities on the IntegrityNext platform, we have the opportunity to work with our suppliers to improve the sustainability of our supply chain. iwis is actively committed to responsible business practices along the entire supply chain, as these represent a key lever on the path to a sustainable economy.
Sustainability Report and CSRD
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a new directive that obliges companies to report comprehensively on their environmental, social, anti-corruption and human rights activities. As a result of this new EU legislation, iwis is also obliged to report regularly on its environmental and social initiatives.
iwis is actively preparing for CSRD reporting by gradually establishing internal structures, collecting and processing information and finally publishing it in accordance with legal requirements.
Once the preparatory phase has been completed and all necessary measures have been taken, iwis' sustainability reports will be published in accordance with CSRD from 2026. To our current sustainability report.
SAQ 5.0 und CDP
Some locations are also assessed via the SAQ 5.0 and CDP platforms, where they also publish data on greenhouse gas emissions and the reduction measures implemented.
